What content management system (CMS) platform do you use to build websites?
I use WordPress for any type of website, while for eCommerce, I use either WooCommerce or Shopify.
On the other hand, I can build a full custom website if the clients have specific requirements that may not be possible with WordPress.
Do you use pre-made themes?
Yes. I use it to build a small business website or online shop to reduce costs for businesses that just want a basic website for online presence.
Do you use a page builder?
Yes, I use a page builder to build WordPress or WooCommerce websites. Most of our clients want to be able to manage their content and edit the page layouts without needing a website developer.
What is a page builder?
A page builder is a drag-and-drop content and layout editor for non-tech savy people. WordPress is a common CMS platform with many page builder plugins.
I can use Elementor, Divi, or Visual Composer plugins to build and manage content, page layouts, and styling for template-based and semi-custom website design.
Are there cases where the costs change during the website production process?
Below are some factors that could change the original cost.
- Changes in the business requirements that will impact the work
- It depends on how far I am in website design or web development production stage.
- Major design revisions after the design is signed off or during the web development and testing stages
- Additional new features or functionalities that are out of scope in the agreement
I will make sure to inform you beforehand before refactoring the website.
